Hint: Think lots and lots of random threads. It's mainly just a ton of information stored here so that it doesn't clog the rest of the site.

Come here and hang out with your fellow members! You can chatter about anything within reason, as long as you stay inside the boundaries of the rules. If you want, you can also play forum games. Everyone loves those, right? Just try and make sure the rules are explained clearly for those who've never played them before.

No one likes having to leave. But sometimes life rips you a new one, and you can't get online for a while. We don't mind, really, deal with your real life. But we'd appreciate if you dropped us a quick note in here, just in case. Especially if you play a key character--else everyone might think you've went inactive and we'd have to replace you! And no one likes being replaced, either.

Once your profile has been moved here, consider yourself permitted to post in the claims and the role-playing boards. (Your name will change colour, as well, if that's any indication.)

Face claims, royalty claims and the like. You can also apply to have your rank changed if you really want to, within reason. A peasant can't become royalty without linking themselves with the royal family, but a soldier might choose to train with the Winged Riders, instead of being normal cavalry.

Everyone likes to plot, so feel free to do so here. You can have fancy plot pages and the like if you feel like it, but it's by no means required. However, if you're looking to plot with a specific character you might want to view the requests board instead. Keep in mind that decisions on plots have to be mutual--both your characters are involved, so you need to reach an agreement.

Do you need a specific character to be played? If you want to avoid having to NPC a separate character all of the time, such as a close friend, family member, or even lover of your own character, feel free to post a thread here. Just make your guidelines clear, and maybe someone will come along and take them!

By far the jewel of the Lunarian Kingdom, Rykshire began as a small town and has since grown into an impressive city that the Lunarians call their capital. It is the most beautiful city in the Kingdom, and houses many of the wealthy folk that do not live in the castle. The main street is lined with expensive and lavish shops, and you will often see well-dressed folk going about their business.

Located in a strategic area between the borders with Astrea and Solaris, Cohlburg was born for it's purpose today--a city of traders and merchants. It is protected under a treaty of peace between the three, and thus it's borders are open to all those who come unarmed. The city does host a few sentries who will search those coming and going, but despite the guard presence, it is usually peaceful. It is the main source of wealth for Lunara.

A small village situated on the very edge of Lunara's large territory, the Ithrian people are used to being self-sufficient due to their distance from the Kingdom. They provide a very solid source of food for the land. Though they are remote, they are well cared for by their rulers. Many of the most loyal supporters of the royal family reside here.

Vormund is a towering volcano situated rather close to the Castle Lunara. Though usually calm, there have been a couple of eruptions in the past, leaving areas directly around it scarred and dead from the flow of lava. Vormund is the home of Wyvern Keep, the nesting grounds of the wyverns on which Winged Knights of Lunara ride. When choosing the path of a Winged Knight, an apprentice must come here to pass his trials and claim his mount.

This large freshwater lake is an extremely important part of Lunarian life, as it supplies a good portion of the Kingdom with clean, drinkable water. Part of the castle is surrounded by it's lakeshore, which serves as the back of the makeshift moat. There are guard towers built into the surrounding mountainsides to snipe enemy traffic across the water if need be.

The Lunar Temple is secluded and hidden amongst black forest and dangerous volcanic regions, it's tower reaching for the dark skies. Though in a remote area and hard to access, some journey here for guidance or to simply feel close to their goddess, Luna. It is said that the calling of her divine power is strongest here, but no one is really sure--the experience varies between individuals.

A bustling, busy city full of imperials and soldiers, Seynor is hardly ever still. It is situated in sight of the castle, and thus only a small population of sentries patrol it, with the comfort that reinforcements from the King's men can be there to defend it rather quickly. There are many slaves forced to work in this city, however, and thus it is said to have a dark side.

Elkarra is the home of the Magicians Spire, a tower built to reach for the skies, in tribute of their god, Sol. This building is the center of the town, and--unsurprisingly--Elkarra hosts the largest population of Solarian magic users, as well as their elite force, the People of the Sun, or the Sun Folk as they are more commonly called. The Sun Folk are mainly healers, but they have been known to abuse their powers at times.

Solaris has been called the Kingdom of Hope in the past, but the residents of Ensauge insist that it is, instead, where hope lines up for the slaughter. The Ensaugian people are actually of Lunarian blood, and are raised like cattle to serve the enemy. The city was once a mining settlement for Lunara, but was overtaken as the first step to the Retaliation War of old.

Pethriel is a military city in the midst of the territory. It was founded by a small group of knights long ago, strategically placed so that the troops could move out in any direction when necessary. There are many taverns in the city, as well as a separate dungeon, where some prisoners are held if they are not important enough for the castle dungeons in times of war.

Astrea's central city is named after Thomas Jembrook, the man who led his family and small group of supporters to freedom from the Retaliation War. Jembrook is home to quite a portion of Astrea's population, and also houses the Palace of the Council, Astrea's government building. This is a city of peace and prosperity, and the mood here is generally cheerful.

Located on the very edge of Astrean territory, where the earth meets the sea, is Port Elford. It's a thriving little sea village, and provides a steady source of food from the sea. There is rumoured to be a vicious sea monster lurking in the depths of the Silver Ocean, however, so be careful!

The smallest of Astrea's settlements, Guidron is nevertheless a very beautiful place. Retired council members are automatically granted a home here after they end their service to the territory, and they live peacefully with their families. There are a few normal inhabitants living amongst them, as well, but it is mainly reserved for those formerly of the council.

A small, now infertile island off the coast of Solaris, it was once the home of their people. However, when he realised that the land was failing, their deity initiated the move to a new continent, bringing them to where they are now. It is unknown whether or not new life has (or ever will) bled back into the Island's space.

So named for the diamond-filled caves in its centre, the Diamond Isle is considered neutral territory on part of a pact between Lunara and Solaris, to prevent the opposing Kingdom from striking it incredibly rich with the treasures within. That is... if they could reach those treasures. The Diamond Dragons, great white beasts with scales glittering like the gems they are named for, call this place home. They are very hostile, but very rarely stray off the island to wreak havoc on the continent.

It's shores were once shared between the two opposing Kingdoms, and it has also been called the Bloodshed Bay on account of the many battles fought over it's waters. However, Astrea's possession of the Niihili forests of the northern coast have brought peace to the once vicious bay. The water is considered neutral territory, and it is used by both Astrea and Solaris.
