The Silver Ocean is named for the rippling silver colour the waves appear in both sun and moonshine. No one is entirely sure why the water appears this shimmering silver colour, only that any water removed and taken away from the main body will slowly fade to a normal blue. Some drink the water, believing it has magical abilities, but this is not recommended, for it has not been proven and can in fact make the drinker quite ill.
