The Jewel Sea, or Sea of Jewels, appears on the surface to be like any other sea. However, there is a large amount of gems on the seafloor... it's reaching them that seems to be the problem. Like most bodies of water, it is inhabited by hostile life, but these creatures are even more vile and vicious than most. There is also said to be a great sea dragon nestled in it's depths. Care to test that theory? It appears to be safe if you plan to merely boat across the surface, and that any form of life actually touching the water excites the beasts.
